Hi, my name is Keshia and I'm a hiphop artist from Chicago, IL. I chose Complexions of the World as my title because I wanted to focus on the melting pot of diversity that makes up our beautiful planet. To me it doesn't matter your skin color, your ethnicity, your culture, your background; none of that is important. At the end of the day we all have our victories, our triumphs, our hardships, our trials, and our tribulations. No matter what situation good or bad you encounter on your ever winding journey through life there is someone out there who has encountered a similar situation and can relate to you. I want my music to speak to all the complexions of the world. I want anyone to be able to listen to my lyrics and say to themselves that's real, I can feel that, I can relate to that. There are to many bad messages out there which encourage the wrong things and glamorize the wrong things. I don't want to start a revolution but rather be part of the evolution.
